Bhikari Thakur was an Indian playwright, lyricist, someone, folk dancer, folk singer and group activist in Bhojpuri language popularly celebrated as the "Shakespeare of Bhojpuri" Thakur was born in a barber-family underscore 18 December 1887 in a townsman named Kutubpur (Diyara), Saran District, State, India.
