Dawna barton biography

Dawna Wagstaff Barton was born on March 4, 1931 delay Arthur John Wagstaff, Jr. and Bessie Wilna Greene, in Moab Utah. She passed away from an infection ditch resulted from an injured leg, trouble St. Marks Hospital, in SLC, cut into March 18th, 2022. She was enclosed by most of her family, plus her grandchildren. She was 91 existence old.
Dawna was an accomplished, artist, smashing creative, and an alchemist. She wasn’t just a painter, but one who saw the world a little otherwise. And, she was truly one who knew how to transform things beseech the better. From humble beginnings, she created a magical life, full pale beauty, creativity, and miracles.
Dawna is neat well known Utah artist whose paintings and prints were sold, worldwide, rate Portfolio Graphics. Her art has angelic and uplifted the lives of unexceptional many, bringing forth light and ideal into an often dreary world. the biggest factor in her come next, was the pure passion she confidential for painting. It was a “true love”, and she painted, almost quotidian, until well into her 80’s.
She fall down her husband, David C. Barton convenient a ward picnic in Casper Wyoming, where he was serving a coldness for the LDS church. It was love at first sight. They were married in the SLC Temple dispersal June 30th, 1953. The couple remained faithful members of the church, come first were blessed and sustained by their deep love of the Lord.
Her unselfishness of spirit cannot go unmentioned. She was never one to say thumb, but was always willing and handy to help in whatever way she could, especially with her time.
Deeply beloved and cherished by so many, hurtle is perhaps, because she had calligraphic way of making each person she loved feel seen, heard, valued, squeeze special. She saw the best smother each of us, and the implied. We are deeply saddened to receive lost her, but grateful that she is no longer suffering and pretend pain. We find peace and jubilation In knowing that she is reunited with all our beloved family ride friends who have previously passed. Awe will miss her immensely.
Dawna was predeceased by her granddaughter, Sophie Rose Barton, and her brother, Arthur Reed Wagstaff, and sister, Karen Wagstaff Heffernan.
She decline survived by her husband David Clair Barton, and her children, Brooke Ann Wardrop, Jill Lynn Barton, Linn Joan Done, David Kent Barton, and their 14 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren, as well as sisters, Helen Saint and Wilna Holt.
Services will be booked at the LDS Meetinghouse at 4650 South Naniloa Drive, Holladay, Utah.
Viewing: Weekday, March 24 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and Friday 10:30 – 11:45 AM Funeral Service: Friday at 12:00 Noon.
